Romantic couple portrait, a tall young man with messy dark brown textured hair standing behind a young woman with long, straight dark black hair, he is gently hugging her from behind with both arms wrapped around her waist, her hands resting over his hands, his cheek close to her head. Both wearing matching purple t-shirts, the woman's shirt has small white text "LOVE" with a heart on the chest, she wears a black skirt, he wears white pants. Both looking at the camera with soft, calm smiles. Dark purple background with glowing violet smoke and mist, magenta and purple rim light outlining their hair and shoulders, neon backlight, cinematic lighting, dreamy romantic mood, shallow depth of field, sharp focus on faces, soft skin, ultra realistic, highly detailed, vertical portrait, high-resolution, aspect ratio 4:5

About this Couple in Matching Purple Shirts Studio Portrait AI prompt

Matching shirts are a couple cliché until the light turns cinematic, and then they become a poster. The couple in matching purple shirts studio portrait prompt wraps the pair in violet smoke and magenta rim light until the simple purple tees glow like a stage costume: he stands behind her with both arms around her waist, her hands rest over his, his cheek rests close to her head, and her shirt carries one small word, LOVE, with a tiny heart.

The color discipline is the whole design. Purple shirts, purple smoke, purple backlight, with only her black skirt and his white pants breaking the palette, so the eye reads the couple as one shape instead of two separate people. Generators with strong color control, such as Gemini, hold that single color world together without letting the smoke wash over the faces.

Choose it for a couple DP with real presence, an anniversary cover, or a music style duo poster. For the red accented twin of this studio mood, see the couple with giant red heart studio portrait , and browse the couples collection for more two person portraits.

Recommended tool: Gemini

Gemini keeps colored smoke, neon rim light, and small chest text under control in one frame, which are the three details this portrait lives on.

How to use this prompt

Copy the full prompt from this page.
Open Gemini and paste the prompt, or attach a photo of the two of you and ask for this scene, outfits, and lighting.
Set the aspect ratio to 4:5 and generate.
Check the LOVE text, the hug hand placement, and that both faces are clear of smoke.

Practical tips

Keep the smoke behind the faces, never across them. If violet mist drifts over her face, add smoke and mist only in the background, faces clear and sharp, and regenerate.
The LOVE text is small and fragile. It renders best exactly as written, one short word in white on her chest. Check it in every render and regenerate on any warped letter.
The hug geometry matters: his arms around her waist, her hands over his hands. If the arms tangle, restate that sentence word for word before anything else.

Prompt variations

Blue smoke edition

shift the whole palette to deep blue shirts and cyan smoke for a cooler, calmer poster.

Sunset gold

swap purple for warm amber smoke and rust colored shirts for a golden hour studio feel.

Facing each other

turn the pose into a forehead to forehead profile with the same smoke and shirts for a more intimate frame.

Frequently asked questions

Can we put our own word on the shirt instead of LOVE?

Yes, one short word or your initials render most reliably. Keep it to a few letters in a plain font position on the chest.

Why does the smoke sometimes change the hair color?

Strong colored light tints hair at the edges, which is part of the look. If the tint goes too far, add natural dark hair color under the rim light to the hair descriptions.

What if we want different shirt colors for each of us?

Keep them in the same color family, such as purple and violet, so the single color world still holds. Opposite colors break the poster effect.

Is this pose hard for generators?

The hug from behind is common and usually clean. Hands are the part to inspect, since hers rest over his at her waist.
